The Manicures Time *should* Forget
2 days and no posts – I actually feel bad about that!
My nails have been painted! I promise, I just was really, really unimpressed with both my manicures so I’m going to combine the two and try to start tonight with a more positive polish experience.
The pictures are crappy, I’m so sorry. When I am not keen on my nails the time I spend on cleaning and photography falls dramatically.
So many people are doing 4th of July nails (I will be doing my own take on those) but of course, being from sunny Scotland – I had to do my own thing. I thought these looked kinda Saltire-ish. For those who may not know, that is my National Flag. Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England all have their own flags, and then Great Britain has the Union Jack as the main one.
Both the White (Star) and blue (Cosmic Blue) were Avon colours that I recently got. They were okay, the main issue being user error I think. I was rushed and not feeling the pale colours.
Then today I had these:
Thats ‘Fury’ (17 Fast Finish) and ‘Number One Nemesis’ (OPI, Spiderman) Normally I wouldn’t layer the OPI but I was trying to get a specific colour, and this was the only way I could think of aching it. The Fury is a a copper gold, and Nemesis is a Nickel.
This was the top (I’m in the Specs!) that I was trying to match up. It was actually right on the money! I was out last night for a Birthday meal for my friend and had a great time (which is why no posts!)

I like the colour you made!
I have never tried anything like that with my striping take yet – good effort! Looks like it’d be a right trackle!
Its actually pretty simple, just when you pull em off the wet tape will try to stick to everything. I had blue polish on my ear – no idea how.
Hi! I nominated you for Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Cheers
I think both versions are great. I love blue and gold together. We cruised two years ago and met a great family from Scotland and we still keep in touch!
